CHLORAMINE AND CHLORINE REMOVAL. "You can quickly and easily remove the chloramine from your drinking water simply by adding vitamin C to the water. You just need to add 10 mg of vitamin C to neutralize each liter of water." Certain activated carbon filter will also suffice. PURE WATER MYTH. "Nearly all large water purification systems can cause the formation of biofilm in the piping. This biofilm can spread microorganisms within the system and contribute to an increase in particles, bacteria, and the level of total organic carbon (TOC). Contamination can affect the whole process in the pharmaceutical industry or hospital environment." http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2458/2/13 View in LinkedIn

WATER TREATMENT PLANT EFFLUENT: "50% of all the network samples contained more than 1.06×10(5) cells mL−1. This indisputably demonstrates biological instability in this particular drinking water distribution system, which was ascribed to a loss of disinfectant residuals and concomitant bacterial growth." http://lnkd.in/dCWk3Re View in LinkedIn
