IN PURSUIT OF BUTTERFLIES, by Matthew Oates. Attended the launch of this book by popular TV personality, and dear boyhood friend at the Natural History Museum in London. Between sense of place and passion for the Purple Emperor butterfly, among others, it was a gathering of the best of true British eccentrics besotted with, and devoted to, these lovely creatures for half a century. Magical.
