PHOTON MANIPULATION is nature’s finest game. Sir Isaac Newton (and others) were drawn to these phenomena out of pure intellectual curiosity, and developed the discipline of optics with huge precision and elegance. Little did they know that optics (photons), and its sister discipline electronics (electrons), would completely transform modern society.
