SMALL MOLECULES can solve sone molecular problems, such as aberrant pathways, but have no ability to solve structural or more complex problems. Cell therapies and biomolecules can act at a higher level, solving structural deficits and multi-system problems, respectively. Cell therapies like phage therapy also beat single molecule therapies such as antibiotics, which cannot evolve as the target evolves to avoid the therapy.
