SO ENDS this two weekend section on animal genetic regulatory kernels, and the Dutch-doll hierarchical maze of control systems that underpin development and morphogenesis; layer ontop of this the drift of the system during evolution, and a three dimensional array of controls emerges. It is but one of many snapshots of how exquisitely nature is organized, especially in the light of the gradual cooling and decay of the universe which surrounds life.
