On Sunday, May 26th, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., I had the honor of meeting Professor David Tong to donate a sculpture I created as a tribute to him.
The limestone sculpture, titled The Diatom: A Living Photonic Crystal, is dedicated to Professor David Tong from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. This gesture recognizes his exceptional open-source lecture notes on quantum physics, which are comprehensible even to enthusiasts like me.
