Infinity

DEDICATION: A tribute to Professor Matheus Lobo

This conceptual sculpture explores the idea of infinity, that formidable idea that is probably better captured by the language of religions than by mathematics. Infinity is bounded by Nothingness; both are beyond imagination. Theoretical physicists frequently resort to zero and infinity to stress test their concepts, which in itself is a marvelous idea. Infinity has a long history of being associated with the snake eating its tail, hinted at in this work.
