DARK MATTER. “The nature of DM affects the evolution of the density perturbations. Cold dark matter (CDM) decouples when non-relativistic, and has very small velocity dispersion today. Hot dark matter (HDM) decouples when relativistic and has non-zero velocity dispersion today.” Thus dark matter is closely interconnected to gravity.
