CUSTOMER-CENTRIC is the emerging model of many types of traditionally product-centric businesses, just as Prof Chesbrough (father of Open Innovation) suggested; previously, the model was customers circling around a value chain. Now many organizations are circling the customer. This is paralleled by the emerging model in medical care to be patient-centric, rather than a passive patient circling around a medical care system. Both of these parallel changes are big, some describing as a Copernican Revolution (sun around earth).
