RICHARD BRANSON is a wildly popular figure. Why is this? Possibly because he is a David and Goliath figure who took on the giant airlines that we all hate with the motto “but we will offer service!” Possibly because he looks anti-establishment, with long hair and a beard, and we can all identify with him. Possibly because he blogs with great simplicity and modesty. Perhaps because he dreams big. Space tourism? Bottom line is this man is a superb communicator and has a giant following.
