HEART ATTACK predictive markers have been sought for decades, and in the typical clinical lab, muscle markers are only diagnostic after the MI has occurred. Fatal or severe acute event predictive tests are well suited to Point-of-Care diagnostic systems for at-risk patients (family history, prior history, metabolic profile).
