ALL FROM HYDROGEN. “The B2FH paper was a landmark scientific paper on the origin of the chemical elements. The paper's title is Synthesis of the Elements in Stars, but it became known as B2FH from the initials of its authors: Margaret Burbidge, Geoffrey Burbidge, William A. Fowler, and Fred Hoyle. It was written from 1955 to 1956 at the University of Cambridge and Caltech, then published in Reviews of Modern Physics in 1957. Hoyle was the intellectual leader.” (Led by the very remarkable Fred Hoyle). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/B2FH_paper View in LinkedIn

QUANTUM FLUCTUATIONS. “Every elementary particle is a ripple. A photon [a particle of light is a ripple in the electric field; an up quark is a ripple in the up quark field]. And if there are no particles around? Even in what we consider empty space, the fields are still there, sitting quietly in empty space, much as there’s water in the pond even if no wind or pebbles are making ripples on its surface, and there’s still air in the room even if there’s no sound.” https://lnkd.in/ejs3NFW5 View in LinkedIn

PROVISION. “We see no immediate objection to this (especially as preference for specific quanta is a characteristic of quantum physics) but a more thorough analysis would be required to fully verify that the correct diffraction can be captured. If not, the hypothesis of an interaction origin clearly fails.” https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/JHEP07(2019)140.pdf View in LinkedIn

THE CONFIGURATION. “With a reference structure deviating from the vacuum configuration and in accord with the flow of information through the geometry, it is possible to obtain the properties of particle diffraction through a protocol similar to a path integral formalism, with particle wavelength λ setting sensitivity to the reference structure — at least provided that interference effects can be accommodated.” https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/JHEP07(2019)140.pdf View in LinkedIn
