"Prophylactic antibiotics reduce the incidence of (infections) and evidence-based guidelines recommend their use prior to incision as opposed to during or after the procedure." ALLERGY FACTS. Not all allergies are severe enough to become anaphylactic, requiring epinephrine injection. Most allergies are relatively mild. However, both rates are increasing.
