THE THEORY OF INFINITE DILUTION has generally been the premise of dumping radioactive and toxic materials into our oceans and groundwater. A drop in a vast body of water. GROUND-WATER IS A RICH SOUP of aqueous chemicals from natural and man-made sources, sometimes at appreciable levels. Many are part of the natural food chain of plants and microorganisms, and equally, but almost all are cumulative, and do not go away. VOLATILE ORGANICS IN MINNESOTA GROUND WATER. Volatile organic contaminants (VOCs) are things like oil, gasoline, industrial solvents and dyes that find their way into groundwater. 48 VICs have health limits set in Minnesota, out of over 68 known to occur in water. 11.4% of sampled wells in the State contain VOCs. http://lnkd.in/dTtfCnr View in LinkedIn

PURE DRINKING WATER GOALS ARE BACKFIRING, as we learn more about the undesirable reactions of chlorine with groundwater contaminants of many sources, generating a large number of toxic compounds with adverse health effects.
