THE GANGES RIVER has had legendary curative powers despite abundant rotting carcasses, sewage, and filth. ALTERNATIVE WATER PURIFICATION TECHNOLOGIES are needed, and exist. There is a lot of gratuitous disinformation in the literature about their relative merits. SWIMMING POOL DISINFECTION USING SALT is highly effective, and operates in the same way as sea water works. The chlorine problem is deeply compounded in public swimming pools forming a range of inhaled toxins.
