NEW MATERIALS AND INVISIBILITY. Metamaterials have been developed with unique properties, including negative refractive indexes. This seemingly innocent finding has led to the development of cloaking technology (invisibility), and subsequently, to the jaw-dropping concept of cloaking time to hide events.
