'SMART DRUGS' WAS COINED FOR NOOTROPHIC STIMULANTS of memory and brain function. A new term is needed for drugs paired with SMART MATERIALS to enhance delivery and performance. Intelligent Drugs? Smart Materials can respond to biological signals such as enzymes or proteins. This has the potential to transform the delivery of drugs in real time, related to acute changes in the patient's biochemistry.
