BACTERIAL VOLATILES. "Honeydew volatiles, mostly from bacterial origins, are known to be a key element in ant attraction...The relative attractiveness of volatiles emitted by honeydews collected from each aphid species and by bacteria isolated from each honeydew was in investigated.
