FRAGMENT FROM NATURE touches on the profound interconnectivity of nature. Mainstream science articles are coy and evasive on this potentially frilly subject, even if many — if not most — of the scientists have a deep conviction of its truth. Sometimes, a huge and evident truth can be evasive to nuts-and-bolts proof, simply because it is so huge. And, there is the very significant career risk of being associated with the abundant lunatic fringe. But former academic Bill Graham, once a marine biologist, eloquently speaks for the many of us who are somewhat tongue-tied on the subject. View in LinkedIn

GERMLINE MUTATIONS. “For a germline to collect these mutations will be just a matter of time; differential reproduction is not required for this. The process of collecting these mutations is enhanced by recombination, because if an individual has gathered several mutations having the same effect, a recombination process will distribute these to the offspring of a partner that does not yet have any. Such distribution of the trait in the population, again, does not require any differential reproduction.” https://lnkd.in/eS_4y_J View in LinkedIn

ADAPTIVE EVOLUTION #4. “Random mutations, epigenetic change (learning) first. According to the semiotic mechanism described, the first event in an evolutionary transformation is a plastic change (change of phenotype), followed by the stochastic genetic changes. This...is of secondary importance.” https://lnkd.in/eS_4y_J View in LinkedIn
