Mainstream science articles are coy and evasive on this potentially frilly subject, even if many — if not most — of the scientists have a deep conviction of its truth. Sometimes, a huge and evident truth can be evasive to nuts-and-bolts proof, simply because it is so huge. And, there is the very significant career risk of being associated with the abundant lunatic fringe.
