The FDA spends inordinate amount of byzantine time regulating drug manufacturing (spme say causing drug shortages), but falls flat on its face with food, and PLEASE let's not talk about tobacco. WORKING FROM HOME DOES NOT FIT ALL ORGANIZATIONS, but in many cultures it is very productive. With teleconferencing the social context of a face-to-face meeting can be retained, and the endless group meetings obviated. CAN REPAIRING CELLULAR ARCHITECTURE ONLY BE DONE WITH CELLS? Here stem cells repair heart defects in a dramatic study. Changing bad blood chemistry is a less complex issue of supply and demand of the chemical in question, and has occupied Pharma for many decades. Even this is really hard: think diabetes and glucose regulation. But to repair tissues and 3D structures with drugs seems beyond difficult.
