PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS OF CIGARETTES have definitely been closely evaluated by Big Tobacco, beyond nicotine, in confidential memoranda retrieved in lawsuits. Termed "beneficial additives", these companies have gone to great lengths to avoid FDA regulation, or any regulation, and consequently, have become experts at botanical extracts. View in LinkedIn

TOBACCO USE CURVE IN THE US rose dramatically and fell dramatically. To replace the lost revenues, tobacco companies expanded overseas, where regulation was soft or non-existent.
