This appears to be a move that recognizes the power of personalized medicine — reduced patient heterogeneity, or a ‘zero phase’ clinical trial for drug screening, obviating the sometimes misleading results from animal models. Also, implicitly, the possibility of growing donor organs in a test tube. Awesome!
