A-LIFE: The International Society for Artificial Life (A-Life) is now on its 14th annual conference. Only 3 years ago we had the first momentous Proof-of-Concept (Venter). From now on it is absolutely inevitable that more synthetic life forms will be created worldwide. GMO debates pale in comparison to this development.
