Volatile organic contaminants (VOCs) are things like oil, gasoline, industrial solvents and dyes that find their way into groundwater. 48 VICs have health limits set in Minnesota, out of over 68 known to occur in water. 11.4% of sampled wells in the State contain VOCs.
