PARTNERING WITH A BIG COMPANY REQUIRES SECURING AN INTERNAL CHAMPION. If you are presenting your technology with the aim of partnering, unless you can identify and get on your side (both) an internal champion with authority, the odds are you will fail. And in big companies, people often change responsibilities. I have seen many cases where the tech company secured a great champion, and late in the process the champion was reassigned and the whole dating game had to restart.
