THE EXPERIMENT. “This is the idea behind the AI-Programmer experiment. The goal is to ultimately create a computer program that can write its own computer programs to solve specific computational problems. While the capability of a computer deciding what type of program to write is beyond our current means, we can still have a computer generate programs to solve very specific tasks, such as outputting the text, “Hello World”.”
