PROFESSOR KEVIN WARWICK, Chair of Cybernetics, University of Reading. “By the age of 40 he had been awarded higher doctorates (D.Sc.) by both Imperial College and by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague for his research output in completely separate areas. He was presented with the ‘Future of Health Technology Award’ in Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was made an Honorary Member of the Academy of Sciences, St.Petersburg. He has received the IET Achievement Medal, the IET Mountbatten Medal and in 2011 the Ellison-Cliffe Medal from the Royal Society of Medicine.”
