2012 BIO TRENDS are looking positive overall and it seems that the nuclear winter of the past few years is thawing. Investor optimism will likely continue to be driven by liquidity events through M&As and IPOs. As usual, the US is the leader of these trends, with a lag in Europe, which has a much thinner VC and IPO base.
