NETWORKED MATTER is a rather extraordinary concept. Beware the Lunatic Fringe, but it merits serious consideration. The Internet of Things (IoT) will be the barn door opener, connecting devices to anticipate our needs. Such as the house warming up when the car GPS shows the owner approaching. But isn’t that just the most basic start? Device to device communication that includes powerful computers could really have legs.
