ESTROUS SYNCHRONIZATION IN CATTLE is achieved by hormone injections to control and reschedule estrous cycle (for timed artificial insemination), resulting in grouped and younger calving, and shorter breeding season. In some cases, super ovulation and embryo transfer to surrogates is used.
