SURROGATE MECHANICAL WOMBS have an enormous, if not insuperable, barrier to overcome: the nurturing hormonal maternal environment, and the epigenetic changes by trimester, that took evolution so long to perfect, not to mention the electrophysiological intimacy with the mother. It seems unlikely that this can ever be replicated with a machine without penalty.
