2006 ARSENIC IN CHICKEN STUDY describes a feeding program that has gone in for decades, despite the USDA’s own data of 3-4 times higher arsenic levels in chicken meat than other meat from 5,000 samples from 1993-2000. The 2006 study found considerable arsenic variation by brand, but it was widespread, and an unnecessary risk to public health.
