BLACK HOLE DEATH. “Low mass PBHs evaporate before the current epoch and the radiation signature of an isolated high mass PBH is too weak to detect. The last moments of a PBH evaporation reveal the hole through a burst of high-energy radiation that is distinguishable from that of short gamma-ray bursts (GRBs).” (PBHs = primordial black holes).
