WE LIVE IN A CHLORINATED WORLD. Introduced at the turn of the century, we now all use chlorinated water. Once hailed as a revolutionary public health advance for stopping water-borne infectious diseases, but in the 1970s byproducts were discovered, and were linked to increased cancer risk.
