WELSH COAL was subsidized to dig and create slag heaps, and then subsidized to remove and beautify these ugly stains on the UK countryside. A stunning development at British American Tobacco suggests that they are adopting a similar tactic with a NRT strategy. NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY message was originally "quit nicotine addiction". But due to tobacco companies' newfound interest in this greener market, the message is now changed to "enjoy more healthy pure nicotine", without harmful additives, rather than quit.
