COUNTERFEIT MEDICINES ARE RAMPANT IN SOME COUNTRIES and kill many patients annually. In places like Nigeria, the majority of medicines are counterfeit. This has been the case for a long time. So it is curious to see an initiative by INTERPOL and Pharma to finally acknowledge the problem, but only fund the initiative with a paltry 5,0 M USD. Is this how seriously the issue is taken? RFID and other technologies can make a dent in this problem, and have also been around for a long time. He created the first transgenic mice, leading the way to all manner of advances in knowledge and application.
