“Catalunya has world-class biomedical science. It has a superb world recognition, particularly through Barcelona. But people tend to think of it as a holiday destination. The message that it is a vibrant emerging Silicon Valley of young biopharma companies in an industry only a decade old has been missed. I am keen to find strategies to develop access to international capital for these worthy young companies, and put Catalan biopharma on the international stage. I am working on some concrete ideas but would love to hear from you!
