As many companies implode due to EQ as due to other reasons. When evaluating a deal, of any sort, assess not only the IQ element (smarts, on target, all objective stuff) but also the EQ of the decision-maker. Without it you can end up in the schoolyard sandbox with a smart, but socially arrested counterpart driven by ego and a skewed view of the way the world operates.
