“CAN YOU MAKE GUMBOOTS FOR FROGS OUT OF THIS?” my old chemistry professor used to say. This memorably zany question stuck front and central un my brain thereafter. It was a repurposing question before we were using the word repurposing. Taffy’s great article highlights the benefits of repurposing beyond pharmaceuticals.
