Here, an implantable sensor detects early chemical signals of a heart attack, and radio-transmits the data to a device. The more that disciplines mix it up, the better. Should Universities abandon Departments and have one sandbox? Perhaps tech companies should deliberately mix researchers with different backgrounds?
