BODY LANGUAGE PERCEPTION. “An important step towards this goal is the acquisition, analysis, and integration of both explicit and non-explicit user communications within the human-robot control loop, such as user intent. Essentially, the robot should respond to non-verbal cues, similar to the “body language” of the user. Through the incorporation of non explicit communication, we hope that human-robot cooperation can be improved.”
