SEA CHANGE IN HISTORY. But to start at the beginning, which is a very good place to start. We are at a special time in the history of knowledge access. The internet has brought the greatest libraries in the world to our fingertips. We no longer need to belong to rarified clubs of universities whose membership was limited to enter great libraries. THE PREMISE. Ideas are the most electrifyingly enlivening entities in this great cosmos. Ideas shape perceptions, reorganize the senses, expand sentience. We are alive most when we engage full frontal with the dazzling array of ideas that exist. View in LinkedIn

UNTOLD RICHES. For the last 2,000 years there has been an abundance of extraordinary thinkers who have committed their curiosity to lasting paper records for future generations to enjoy. THE NORMAL VILLAGE. During our lives, most of us mortals are rarely personally exposed to these extraordinary thinkers. Even those who display unusual curiosity, moments of great insight, or who march to a different drum are rare.
