This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. In this talk I will give you an outlook on the revolution in bio technology. What is bio tech? What is already possible?
I took my PhD in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, did a postdoc at Boston University Medical School, and Harvard’s McClean Hospital, and was a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. I founded Athena Diagnostics, which was later sold for $740 Million. Also, I joined a number of boards, including two public companies, and worked as an advisor for various biotech companies before moving from San Francisco to Catalonia, in Baix Emporda. Here I co-founded ADVentura Capital, focused on finding Catalan technology companies international capital. I had also founded G2B Pharma, to develop nasal adrenalin, and have secured money and partners in Japan to fund this company. I am looking forward to getting his Catalan passport.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
