THE STUFF OF PHOTONS. “Louis de Broglie believed that photons consist of two neutrinos, and antiphotons consist of two antineutrinos. Photons from neutrinos are left-handed (spin -1), and antiphotons from antineutrinos are right-handed (spin 1). This determines the polarization of the light. In ordinary light, the number of photons is equal to the number of antiphotons.”
