CHARGE CONVEYANCE. “The tendency of bees to become positively charged is well evidenced. This charge generates forces on other charged objects in the vicinity of the bee from flowers to the electroreceptor hairs and antennae of conspecifics.” https://lnkd.in/dz2UJCDk View in LinkedIn

NEARBY ISLANDS. “On the other hand, about a quarter of century ago, a physical mechanism was suggested leading to the possible formation of compact antistars over normal matter-dominated background.” https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

GIANT ANTIMATTER ISLANDS. “If the charge symmetry is broken spontaneously, then domains of matter and antimatter may exist but the size of domains is expected to be cosmologically large, at the Gigaparsec level. Therefore, the accepted faith is that if even macroscopically large objects or regions consisting of antimatter exist, they should be far away from us at the edge of the universe or at least at distances beyond 10 Mpc.” https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

ANTIMATTER ASYMMETRY. “In the models with explicit C and CP violation, the baryon asymmetry is a universal constant over the whole universe.” (CP violation = charge conjugation parity symmetry). https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

The St Narcis Fair of Girona is completely mediaeval in feel with processions following agnostic figures and revelling until the very early hours for days on end. View in LinkedIn

JOHN CAGE’S ‘FOUND ART’. “In the ’70’s, with inspirations like Thoreau and Joyce, Cage took literary texts and transformed them into music. “Roratorio, an Irish Circus on Finnegan’s Wake” (1979), was an outline for re-envisioning any work of literature as music. With a dynamic optimism, he sensed music everywhere, to be made from anything.” https://lnkd.in/dGWvVhiN View in LinkedIn

MATTER LOCALITY. “According to the accepted conviction, the universe in our neighborhood consists solely of matter, and the existence of macroscopically large antimatter objects is absolutely excluded. This is in accordance with the conventional picture that the excess of baryons over antibaryons in the Universe is generated by Sakharov’s mechanism.” https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

NEW TOOLS. “These lines can be probed in dedicated observations by forthcoming sensitive X-ray spectroscopic missions XRISM and Athena and in wide-field X-ray surveys like SRG/eROSITA all-sky survey.” https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

SPECTRAL FINGERPRINT. “In astrophysically plausible cases of the interaction of neutral atmospheres or winds from antistars with ionized interstellar gas, the hadronic annihilation will be preceeded by the formation of excited ̄ and He ̄ atoms. These atoms rapidly cascade down to low levels prior to annihilation giving rise to a series of narrow lines which can be associated with the hadronic annihilation gamma-ray emission.”""h https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn

ANTISTARS. “The existence of macroscopic objects from antimatter (antistars) is envisaged in some models of baryogenesis. Searches for antistars has been usually carried out in gamma-rays through hadronic annihilation of matter.” https://lnkd.in/d_CXigJS View in LinkedIn
