ATTRACTORS AND REPELLERS. “It was observed by Hoffman in 2017, that our local galaxy is being pulled towards the Shapley attractor, but in the opposite direction is apparently being repelled by a region devoid of galaxies. COGS OF THE UNIVERSE. “The Dipole Repeller is located at a distance of about 220 Megaparsecs and coincides with a void in galaxy density. SUPERCLUSTERS. “There is also a pattern of bulk flow in the motion of neighbouring galaxies extending to distances of over 250 megaparsecs (Mpc). There is a known over-density from the Shapley Supercluster that creates an attraction in the flow of galaxies, that is consistent with another matter supercluster. CONTRARIAN REPULSION. “Kowitt has suggested that the big bang is driven by gravitational repulsion between matter and antimatter. Matter and antimatter would naturally segregate into larger regions and cosmological repulsion would predominate.
